May 26, 2015 Yes, I understand I'm over a month late on this one, but I've only recently grown to appreciate Thug's music. So here's my review of his latest project, Barter 6. Track 1 - "Constantly Hating (feat. Birdman)" I like the chill vibe of this track, his flow and voice fit perfectly on this track. Birdman has a decent verse, didn't expect that. Nice start to the album. Rating = 8/10 Track 2 - "With That" I'm gonna keep saying this and I'm telling you @Narsh, the first verse of this song uses the same flow Wanye did on 'HollyWeezy', and no, I'm not hating. I like this song though, beat is very nice. Rating = 7/10 Track 3 - "Can't Tell (feat. T.I. & Boosie Badazz)" Love the hook on this track (including that lowkey shot at Wayne's Dedication series), T.I. came through with a nice verse, and Boosie surprised me on this one. Rating = 7/10 Track 4 - "Check" Hook is nice, beat is good. Simple track, not much to say here. Not bad. Rating = 6.5/10 Track 5 - "Never Had It (feat. Young Dolph)" Well, this track has a long a--- hook, thank god that it's a good one. Beat is nasty, Young Dolph's voice fit nicely on it and I feel he added something good to this track. Rating = 7.5/10 Track 6 - "Dream (feat. Yak Gotti)" Dunno why I like the hook so much on this track, it just flows nice. Some cringey lines like "PS3, I'm not playin" but it doesn't seem like a problem seeing as the beat is so chill. Feature verse was short and that's good because I didn't like this guy. Rating = 6/10 Track 7 - "Dome (feat. Duke)" I love the vibe of this track, beat bumps, hook is cool. The crooning and humming on this track is A1 af. I love the fact that Thug and Duke bounce off each other, makes for a great track. Rating = 8/10 Track 8 - "Halftime" This is definitely my favorite track on the album. Great beat, good hook, great verses. Great s---. Rating = 9/10 Track 9 - "Amazing (feat. Jacquees)" Weird beat, hook is trash, verses are meh. Really not feeling this track. Disappointing seeing as this album was quite good until this point. Rating = 3/10 Track 10 - "Knocked Off (feat. Birdman)" Ugh, Birdman is so mediocre on this. Beat is nice, hook is aight. Ed, Edd & Eddy line in Thug's verse got a chuckle out of me, even though he sounded r-----ed when saying it. Okay track. Rating = 5/10 Track 11 - "OD" Another huge hook, but it's great. The beat on this track is my personal favorite on the album. Good track, seems things are picking up after track 9 & 10. Rating = 7/10 Track 12 - "Numbers" The piano keys at the beginning of the track had me sold straight away. Beat is great, hook is great, nice atmosphere on this song. Rating = 7/10 Track 13 - "Just Might Be" Love the double time flow on the hook, beat is eerie and dope. I don't really care about the verses when the rest of the track is this smooth. Great closer. Rating = 7.5/10 FINAL VERDICT: Good album, a lot better than I expected. Production was a highlight, some of the hooks were dope too. I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. FINAL RATING = 7.5/10

May 26, 2015 nah man, and im only defending him because he put in more work than you to like thug. you told me you h8 him and i was alright with that, but you cant knock Luke -- he listened to both "starter kits" i made, reviewed both, and then listened to this album. will probably check out rich g--- tha tour pt 1 next i bet hes not just brown-nosing if he was he wouldnt have rated one of the best singles of the year, by far, so low
May 26, 2015 You better be 'alright with that'. He's a drowsy fuckhead who has no issue saying homosexyal things that are barely intelligible. Narshmello we cool and all, but quit trying to soil people with this guy's music so much. I've listened to probably 10 tracks...it's terrible...guy makes Chief Keef look like a public speaker.

May 26, 2015 I'm far from a big Young Thug fan but giving Just Might Be a 7.5 is criminal. Also Check needs to be higher too.
