Mar 30, 2016 Hey guys, yesterday I watched Interstellar for the second time and its just incredible. Watching it reminded me of my theatre experience watching Interstellar and it left me speechless. Its one of those movies that are perfect the way they are. I know some people are not reeeally interested in space stuff (which is a lie, everybody is) but after watching the movie you become a fan. Trust me. I feel like it does not get the acclaim it deserves and I wonder why. Is it the setting? Is it the length? Major keys: Matthew McConaughey: isnt he one sexy mof- and a truly talented actor? He was incredible and in my opinion oscar-worthy. The scene where he left his family, driving into the unknow, dangerous future The tears he shed. I was about to cry. No joke. And the end... The Soundtrack: Hans Zimmer is a fcking legend and the soundtrack is mindblowing. Its fits so perfectly to the overall movie and gave me goosebumps. The whole scenario and the plot: Even tho its a scifi movie, it is so much non-fiction. All the theories in the movie, all the different space aspects made me r--- google and wikipedia. It is scary how accurate some things are. This is not just entertainment, it pleasures one on so many levels. One of the best movies I have ever seen. Spoiler
Mar 30, 2016 There is a little bit complicated plot, but I think it isn't underrated. It's just decent sci-fi movie. 7.5/10 to me.
Mar 30, 2016 I loved all the sci-fi stuff in it. Disliked all the forced love stories and the 'love dimension' tacked on bs.
Mar 30, 2016 some of you guys had to google explanations for this movie? OUT try mulholland drive than or inland empire
Mar 30, 2016 it does. what love story? between the daughter and the father? and the thing about love being unreal but real at the same time? still better than any other love movie
Mar 30, 2016 yeah seriously don't get people acting like Chris Nolan movies are always some complex incomprehensible s---. I think they just like making ridiculous timelines and diagrams and s--- that are more convoluted than the film is. You need to watch more movies then. Also nah the movie is overrated if anything, it's a good movie but it's nothing too amazing.
Mar 30, 2016 I didn't mind the dad-daughter stuff until it became the plot of the movie. Interstellar should be renamed to interbookshelves... f---ing ridiculous. A love movie is what it is... a love movie. This should have been a sci-fi movie.
Mar 30, 2016 you cant condemn a scifi movie only because it has some "love" elements in it lol The father-daughter story is no cliché love story, it just reflects the real life. real decisions and real problems you have, when you leave your loved ones
