Why is the last verse of GTC so underrated? This verse and song as a whole is exactly what Eminem should sound like. Relapse should've been the first and last real attempt to do the Slim Shady style he should've moved forward after that. This is more emotional and real than any other verse I can think of from Eminem past or present you can just tell it comes from a real place. If some how he ever releases a true dedication song to Kim I don't think it'll ever top this verse.

Wake up in the hospital, full of tubes, but somehow I'm pullin' through.
Swear when I come back I'ma be bulletproof.
I'ma do it just for Proof, I think I should state a few
Facts, 'cause I may not get a chance again to say the truth.
s---, it just hit me that what if I would not have made it through?
I think about the things I would have never got to say to you,
I'd never get to make it right, so here's what I came to do.
Hailie, this one is for you, Whitney and Alaina, too,
I still love your mother, that'll never change,
Think about her every day, we just could never get it together.
Hey, wish there was a better way, for me to say it,
But I swear on everything, I'd do anything for her on any day.
There are just too many things to explain, when it rains,
guess it pours, yes, it does, wish there wasn't any pain.
    But I can't pretend there ain't, I ain't placin' any blame,
I ain't pointin' fingers, heaven knows I've never been a saint.
I know that it feels like we just pissed away our history,
And just today I looked at your picture, almost if to say,
"I miss you" subconsciously, wish it didn't end this way.
But I just had to get away, don't know why,
I don't know what else to say, I guess I'm...

And on that note Recovery is way too over hated it has some great songs sure it does have its fair share of average tracks but denying Recovery of it's crazy highs is being delusional as f--- hopefully the next album will be more emotionally driven

I used to like MMLP2 a lot more than Recovery but I relistened to it in its entirety not too long ago and it really is a great album. MMLP2 is good it has amazing highs but those lows really do bring it down a lot. So I've really grown to appreciate Recovery and gained a more mixed feelings look at MMLP2.
I don't think he can pull off a more edgier or humorish gimmick anymore he just needs to be serious, emotional, and attempt more concept songs.

2nd and 3rd verse are my favorites. I love all verses of the song tho but I do hate the chorus/sample

I don't mind the sample but I'm sure he could've used a better old school rock ballad. Dream On was perfect for SFTM. Imagine him pulling off a good song with him sampling the hook for The Unforgiven by Metallica....:lol6:

Do it.. It's really underrated as f---. And I bet you're gonna love it. It's just people make or we should say, change opinions based on what others say. I used to love MMLP2 more than SSLP but when I came to SXN idk how but I changed my opinion and now I find myself rarely putting on any MMLP2 tracks on my tracklist. Major opinions of people change thoughts. Though I realised it within time and made myself strong enough to not hate on Recovery as most of the people her says that it doesn't have many "great" tracks or whatsoever.

There are only 3 tracks I found in Recovery which I disliked (not hated)
    -Almost Famous
    -Untitled
-that slaughterhouse featuring track, I don't remember its name cause I rarely bump it

Other than that I'll rate recovery a 9/10 (-1 because it was a safe album and some samples were just not as good)

Also imo You're Never Over, GTC and Not Afraid were key elements of Recovery. (Don't forget to mention that YNO is underrated as f--- too) I would bump these 3 all day long from Recovery.

Recovery is a good album. MMLP2 is his worst and lost replay value faster than any of his albums... I listed to Relapse more than I play MMLP2.

Song's not underrated, if anything it's the reason why the album's overrated. It's pretty much his most widely acclaimed song since coming back at least on here.
