    i think it's illmatic, but it could be cuban linx, could be paid in full or great adventures, could be soul food or the outkast debut, bizarre ride, etc. but i think it's illmatic.

    Believe me, it's not insane at all, but I respect that.

    Illmatic is timeless for sure, but let's be real... as good as it is it sounds outdated nowadays. Still in my Top 20.

    Great album.

    I wonder if Kendrick can deliver as good project as GKMC again... d--- was dope tho.

    College Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation, 808's, MBDTF and Yeezus is my fav run in Hip-Hop.

    look, get rich was one of the first rap albums i bought on the day of release, i love 50. when you take into account the moment that was, it's definitely a classic. but no album with, like, "poor lil rich," "like my style," "don't push me," and "patiently waiting" is the best rap debut of all time. it doesn't even have most of 50's best songs!

    Alot of artists debut is their best peice of work.. to hard to say which is the best.... only built 4 Cuban lynx would be my pick.

    Almost every song on GRODT was a hit and these songs still sound good nowadays.

    "It doesn't even have most of 50s best songs" okay, but comparing to his other albums... GRODT has more good songs than any other album he released after that. His 99-09 run was great, but since 03 it was downhill for him.

    i am certainly not disputing that he never topped get rich after the fact, but it is not the purple tape lol

    What would you say are some of 50s best songs not on Get Rich? Genuinely interested because I’ve never really cared enough to check out any of his stuff outside the first three albums.
