Feb 2, 2016 Hey guys, I created a design for a t shirt based on kendrick lamar and wanted to get some feedback. The idea behind this shirt is to parallel Kendrick to the Notorious B.I.G as the "King of New York". The art style of the illustration draws inspiration from the cover of "Biggie Duets: The Final Chapter" I wanted to get some input from other fans on my design before I spend money and print it. Thanks guys
Feb 2, 2016 Dope s---. Take care if you spend money in order to sell these shirts later, using artist pictures are d--- tricky regarding copyright.
Feb 2, 2016 Thanks for the tip. I am trying to research how that would play out as well. The illustration is from scratch but it is based off a copyright photograph. So that could indeed be a gray area.
Feb 2, 2016 You might get double the trouble (that rhyme tho) when the printing website requires you to confirm that you're using non-copyright material before ordering. Maybe you'll find good info on how to use the pic nevertheless. Anyway, do you have the standalone version of the portrait? I like it, might as well share it with 35k Kendrick fans on Facebook.
Feb 2, 2016 For those wondering about the red, here is the source image of the Duets album: http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/A1Yqi8Dnt3L._SL1500_.jpg
Feb 2, 2016 I have a personal one, but not one for my designs yet. I was planning on getting one setup soon after I get a few more designs out.
Feb 2, 2016 I did hear a few others mention this to me. I think it's partially because of his new dreaded look but I'm not sure. I am considering having his name in the top left corner in some form
Feb 3, 2016 it a great t shirt man, but I agree with what the others said... is the red really necessary?
