    Okay so I am out of school rn since its summer and I cant remember what the actual art term is for positive and negative space?

    Composition? I suppose you could use that to refer to the balance of positive and negative space though it refers to more than that.

    If not, maybe @JFK knows

    yeah I've always referred to it as composition, or just flat out positive and negative...
