After E3 I was left sort of disappointed with this strange mysterious trailer from Kojima but after watching this video :



The potential for this game is outstanding and I'm hyped as f---
The concepts of life, universe, alternate dimensions, rapture, etc sounds dope

I kinda laughed at the "Well Kojima has the complete freedom to be as creative as he wants" that people have been saying since his departure from Konami, but that trailer analysis changed my mind... he's going all out. This might be the game of the century. He has big goals like "creating a new genre" so it's exciting to see how everything pans out since I'm a huge Metal Gear fan and these themes and concepts sound great. The video is a must watch if you wanna know about the game.

Is not part of Death Stranding yet that's clearly Norman Reedus... they are saying it's their new mascot.

This whole thing is inspired HEAVILY (IMO) by 2001: A Space Odyssey's themes. especially when you hear what Kojima says is his new idea for the game or whatever.

Really want this to be great, but I'm kinda worried that now he's off his leash Kojima will just make something so abstract that it ends up a mess.

Kojima has since said that the face used for Ludense was his own, but he also said that he was the third guy in the first MGS5 trailer, so

tbh i kinda half expected a s--- game cause its like a dead series and rehashing plots in the middle of games just seems like a cash grab, but man... did not see it being s--- in this kinda way. it's like they just d-ck teased so much s--- and never ended up following any of it up

The trailers were all a load of bs. All the "men become demons" s--- and scenes of Snake shooting the black kids, chillin with Skull Face, choking out Chico, and forcing his men to stab him. I wanted to see Big Boss go into psycho mode and become the supervillain he is in Metal Gear 1. Where the f--- was that story, I paid full price for it.

I thought MGSV was good... the story was weak for mgs but still better than other games and the actual gameplay is some of the best stealth gameplay yet. The biggest L for me was the ending... I actually kept playing the game doing side missions for the next main story mission to appear... because I didn't know I beat it. Leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I really thought everything up to Skull Face jeep time was just Chapter 1 and afterwards the story takes off.... huge letdown.

I think what kojimbo was going for, was that TPP would make you realise the acctions of Big Boss after MGS3 make him a hypocrite/c----/bad guy. Especially in Peace Walker (although I never played it) you're full arming yourself up with nukes and metal gears and s--- - the exact thing Big Boss was against doing. It's meant to be a big play on the meme/content thing from MGS2 imo. You don't actually realise when you're playing those games as Big Boss, you're actually doing evil s--- cause you're being praised as an over glorified war hero legend by everyone around you. Venom goes through the same sorta process but TPP is so convulated/leaves so much s--- unexplained it's just weird.

Did you ever see the sign for the Quarantine Platform? it says "Quarantin Platform" like i find it real f---ing hard to believe they f----- that up and that it has to have something to do with the "hallucinations" but really it's just like you can't tell if somethings inconsistent cause the games unfinished, or because Venoms hallucinating.
