    hang on, when you say new material, are both of these new? i thought the netflix deal was that they got 2 previously recorded specials from the vault that just didn't air, and then a deal to film a 3rd new one. does he really have 3 hours coming out in the same year?
    how relevant/recent are the jokes/references?

    2 previously recorded and 3rd one is about to be recorded and released at the end of the year

    Jokes are about the OJ Simpson, police brutality, raising his kids, Kevin Hart, he took a shot on Key & Peele and a lot of other stuff

    they were okay hes obv pretty washed some of his material felt so dated like it was written 10 years ago but some hilarious moments

    The specials were great. I do prefer the Texas one over the LA one but they're both hilarious. The material is a little dated which is terrifying to younger people I guess but it's not that serious not to mention that it was known for a while that these specials were older recordings he never released. s--- if he has more he should release those as well. Looking forward to the next Netflix special.

    First one is from a year ago. The 2nd is newer. Jokes would've felt better last year obviously but it's pretty good
