EminemSXN is just bad for this site. There's a few great posters in there ngl, but most of them are bad, really bad. EmSXN is just pointless at this point, hundreds of threads about the same thing - speculations. Eminem isn't as active as he was back in 2000s. There's way too many new great rappers to focus on.

What I suggest...

1. Merge every EmSXN thread into one thread as "Eminem Chat Thread", so we can keep all of them weirdos in there.
2. Every new Em thread should be bannable. (Besides new album threads).

Most people come here for Eminem unfourtunately. So I don't see that happening.

I'm neither for or against it tbh. Sometimes seeing some of these dumb threads pop up is the only thing keeping this place busy so I don't really mind them.

I wish there was more interest in other artists and other topics of conversation.

there's thousands of up and coming artists that are influenced by Eminem, are inspired by Eminem but are ultimately better than Eminem.

old Eminem is good don't get me wrong but the delivery and tone of new Eminem is appalling and the activity he has (same old threads, you know the deal) does not justify him having a SXN anymore.

A lot of dope albums dropped and people barely posted anything in these threads, they were talking about Em instead (He didn't drop anything since that Big Sean cypher)

I'm not hating on Em, not at all, I'm a fan myself, but there's way too many Em threads.

Love ya man but voted no. If anything we just need to get stricter on banning the ones that spread their f----- up Stanisms.

The question is why do people get banned from other sites yet they're allowed to flourish here?

so, here's my take-

we always have this debate. are the stans ruining the forum, etc. pearl clutching..... they're certainly annoying, and possibly mentally challenged. but imo, they're a necessary evil, you need that contrast in activity. and numerous posters, including most of the greats, graduated from being a lowly stan at one time or another. em is a gateway music artist/icon for kids, if hes nothing else. the real issue is when posters use discord or xyz and stop contrubting to music discussion elsewhere here. thats why s/o @Jeans and the dudes poppin up to discuss old - or new - artists, etc.

so i vote keep it. it brings in young members, they mean well, and it allows other sections to scoff/attract converts. we all like to feel superior

ita kinda criminal ohgeesy and fenix dont have their own sections or a mixed one since them two are in their own league they go WAY more harder then greedo, drako ,mike sherm , yg . both their voices stick out to me just like with lil eazy except they are more consisitant

EmSXN in 2020: Marshall III posting his weird pics everywhere, Faultmatrix trying to bet with everybody, CSA, TheDarkView and them trying to prove Em is #1, at least 10 or more posters posting weird threads like "Em relapse pics", another few posters still talking about Relapse (It's 2020, we have some other music to discuss) and a few idiots claiming to have exclusives... It's happening non stop. I don't mind a good Em thread, but I haven't seen one in a while.

For instance... J.ColeSXN members, did you see one? No, cause they're inside of their one thread. I went there and read their discussion, they're a bunch of gentlemen, talking some dope s---. Not like most of EmSXN, so... why EmSXN is so huge and Cole fans are barely seen?

S80 would probably do better if it wasn't a music discussion website at it's core.
I think there's just not enough interest in discussing music. And people are all on social media these days causing forums to die.

This forum easily has the best features of any forum I have been on. From gif integration, to all those custom emojis, to having sections you can follow. The list goes on. Some forums look like they date back to 2000 yet generate 10 times the amount of traffic.

Part of the problem I think comes from the community and how the forum promotes itself tbh. But that's another story.
