Feb 19, 2019 Should’ve made this a couple weeks ago but got lazy. Announced campaign: Sen. Cory Booker (NJ) Former Sec. of Housing & Urban Development Julian Castro (TX) Former Rep. Elizabeth Warren (MA) Author Marianne Williamson (TX) Businessman Andrew Yang (NY)
Feb 19, 2019 She also came out against Medicare for all. This isn’t 2008. A platform like that isn’t going to win you the democratic nomination. Especially when you have so many progressives running. They’re gonna destroy her.
Feb 19, 2019 from what i gathered there is that shes against medicare for all but still is pushing for an option for americans to be able to choose public government run plans instead of private. as a path to uni health care. so she still wants uni health care, just not through the form of medicare for all specifically.
Feb 19, 2019 Yeah she wants a public option like Obama advocated for with Obamacare but that’s not uni healthcare. It’s more a compromise between uni healthcare & private healthcare. Regardless, all voters are going to hear is that she’s agsinst Medicare-for-all & that won’t sit well w/ democrats, not in 2019/2020.
Feb 19, 2019 its not but its a path we can implement immediately and move towards a better universal health care than MFA, one where dental and vision can be covered as well like many countries have. idk i like her idea there. cause MFA rly can be better -- only candidates vision of it that i like is bernies.
Mar 19, 2019 In midst of all this debate about the EC, it’s good to know the history behind it which tbh I had no idea about:
Mar 20, 2019 Precisely why I told you this guy is no different from any other political pundit. He covers for “his guy” just like everyone else covers for their favorite candidate.
Mar 20, 2019 He comes out and says that so I don’t see the big deal. He reports facts, data, polls, history and then gives his take on who best suits working people and what policies work and don’t work for the vast majority of people He has covered every candidate though and thoroughly goes through their record, donors, history, etc... Are you working class?
Mar 20, 2019 I mean covers as in defends. His preference/preferred candidate isn’t hard guess. He tries to act unbias/objective when he’s *clearly* not.
Mar 20, 2019 Yeah, he clearly lines up with Bernie’s platform because he believes social democracy policies work best...he’ll make his case for that and lays out all the facts and information. And he has also criticized Bernie before. He is objective and principled with his commentary. He actually breaks things down in detail for working class people and he’s looking out for your best interests as a member of the working class. You can deflect, do mental gymnastics and strawman all you want but policies are policies, facts are facts and voting records don’t lie. He wrote the platform for the Justice Democrats and is partly responsible for the rise of AOC Of course one is going to defend a champion of the working class against dumbass smears and lies.
