May 11, 2022 RICO alone can get you 20 years. Can get up to a life sentence depending on the crimes involved. I've skimmed through the documents and Thug is "only" charged with RICO and some sort of "participation in street gangs" charge but he is facing multiple decades in prison regardless.

May 11, 2022 that is in the indictment, but Thug is not charged with conspiracy to commit murder and I assume they would have charged him with that already if they were going to, at least with the info they have. I assume they're hoping someone flips and establishes a connection beyond Thug's name being on a car rental. But again I'm not an expert.
May 11, 2022 basically they don't even need to charge him with conspiracy to commit murder they just need to prove he is part of a g--- where someone else conspired to commit murder. Even if he honest to god knew nothing about the murder he would still get 20 years for the RICO charge while the guy who actually did it gets the RICO charge plus a conspiracy to commit murder charge on top of that.
May 11, 2022 Also a RICO charge doesn't even need to involve murder, the DA just needs to establish that there is an organized group of people who do illegal stuff for profit and that the defendant has engaged in illegal activity for and is a member of that organized group. hopefully that's "his security guard's gun"
