Sep 14, 2022 We're still out here grinding and making it, but the homeless rate in Phoenix is increasing like crazy. From what I've read, it seems like quite a bit of the current homeless population are experiencing their first time being homeless - which I'm sure could be tied back to rent increases and general inflation.
Sep 14, 2022 I'm going to be in Phoenix in December. It's not all bad big corporations profits are way up... record breaking even... and a handful of billionaires went from being barely worth $10B to having over $100B a piece. It's called a transfer of wealth and class warfare.
Sep 14, 2022 Gas prices have declined here in the U.S. but inflation remains pretty high for essentially everything else. Inflation has been such a huge topic in current U.S. political discourse (& who to blame for it), this thread is a good illustration of how it’s currently a global issue.
Sep 15, 2022 I was in a tough spot in early 2020 and was also broke as s--- for a minute earlier this year, but I found a bunch of new projects/clients so I'm in a decent position now. Just took a vacation so now I'm working on building some savings back up.

Oct 23, 2022 I think so recently. Well, more typically, I spent a lot of money on diabetes medications at local pharmacies. Plus for housing, etc. Now that I've started buying victoza online, since they're cheaper there, I can basically pay my bills
