    Wow so far 2/2 people picked Kanye for Illest alive, crazy..

    I've always been a bigger Jay fan so I preferred him, always felt like he was a better rapper.

    remember the WTT concert? Seriously one of the best shows ever...not sure if I preferred that concert or the Yeezus one.

    Went there too, such an amazing concert. Best one I've been to tbh.

    I think Jay being a better rapper goes without saying, but Kanye was great on WTT

    Yeah I was at the WTT show in Tacoma, it was great. Think they did NIP 5 times, but I heard some other places they did it like a dozen lol.

    They made the crowd form circles and at the start of the song everyone ran back together it was awesome, like 6 times

    They're close on almost every track. Kanye is my favorite rapper OAT so maybe that skewed a few.

    On wtt they were very close but I think Jay's rapping on AG, RD, Black Album is better than Kanye's. Albums like MBDTF and Yeezus are amazing for other reasons than Kanye's rapping imo

    Its def close, but the only reaspn most ppl would give it to jay cause of all the experimental stuff ye did


    Kanye has a broader subject matter than pretty much every rapper except maybe 3k

    That is exactly why I love Kanye as an artist. Being good at rapping isn't the only thing that matters. Do I even need to name a rapper that is talented as f---, can rap his a--- off but choses to make s-----y songs? I think Jay has so much charisma (esp on BP) and can flow over anything and make it sound great. But BP and MCHG were kind of safe where Yeezus/MBDTF/808 were game changers

    mchg is not even close to safe. Holy Grail is the only safe song on there. Not every rapper in his 40s can pull off what jay did on mchg and make it sound amazing

    I like MCHG but I was more comparing it to Yeezus (and BP3 to MBDTF).
