Jun 24, 2015 Nice reply lol. f---in curveball a--- mother f---er. Really? I'ts a good job I'm not american then isn't it. Thank f--- to be honest. Plus I don't have the time to run a spell checker each time I write a post... FAM. I assure you I can spell, but you seem to belong to the same collective to those who can't differenciate a typo and a misspelling, so my time is completely wasted on you.
Jun 24, 2015 Cmon man lets not insult him over something unrelated to the topic. Although I understand why this pissed you off because it pisses me off as well. Bottom line is that white people (I'm white and I'm guessing you are to) will never understand being a black man or woman in america and all the frustrations that come with it. Our leaders have done little to help these situations. I mean for gods sake the confederate flag flys over the South Carolina state capital. And people wonder why others are mad. people find that offensive and in poor taste for good reason. It is a 300 year old symbol of hate. And it's not just offensive to one race it is offensive to all. It's outrageous that a black man or woman (anyone honestly) must drive through the streets of South Carolina which are named after Confederate generals. Slave owners. If you take a short walk down the street from the church where to shooting took place, You will find a Confederate museum. A shrine to the Confederate flag. Really it is a shrine for hate. I recommend watching the June 18th episode of The Daily Show. Jon Stewart has a great speech on that show that explains the situation better than I can. it's wrong. It's just wrong. And there really is no other intelligent way to look at it.
Jun 24, 2015 ^ I say let's keep this respectful because change starts small. If a couple of guys on the internet can't do it than were in for a long road with the whole country.
Jun 24, 2015 Fair enough. I can see a curveball being thrown though when it's sailing through the sky. Ignore my point, then go on so insult my comprehension skills before assuming I can't grasp the english language because of a few typos?? Typical behaviour really. I'm used to it.
Jun 24, 2015 Yelawolf should really have his own subsection. i didn't come to the Eminem section to talk about this hick!
Jun 24, 2015 He had every right to be mad. I know the words may not have been great but he had EVERY right to be mad. It's more than frustrating when people continue to defend this flag. Trust me.
Jun 24, 2015 I dont know how many of you saw this but Hot97 had a whole conversation about what he conferderate flag means to him and had a honest conversation about race.
Jun 24, 2015 lol. I'm not an English teacher mate. And school was a lil while ago for me now. Improper use of Grammar? Yeah sure, sometimes that can happen when I haven't much time to formulate my words. Typos and misspellings?? Well f---ing sue me. Most of the time I'm posting whilst at work, talking to other people all day, but like I've already said I fail to see what any of this has to do with a confedorate flag, and how rocking it is racist. You can all ignore that though if you want. It's fine.
Jun 24, 2015 Man I'd never rock the flag but people need to be careful before they jump onto a political fad, because that's pretty much whats going on here now. People are fussing about the flag since charleston more so than they normally would. I hear you all and I understand your sentiments, and I know it's a touchy subject. I'm simply saying that if someone sports it, it doesn't make them automatically racist.
Jun 24, 2015 It does however make them ignorant and insensitive. And it is not a political fad. Coming from someone who actually lives in america, this is not a new issue. The shooting however has sprung people into action. Maybe that's the silver lining. I only wish there didn't have to be one and we could have gotten here without mass murder.
Jun 24, 2015 Ok fair enough, and your'e right I dont live in the US so I can't speak for y'all. Thing is this it seems the same as the swastika argument all over again. Swastika was initially sanskirt for 'good luck' or something along those lines if I remember rightly.
Jun 24, 2015 Right but could you blame a Jewish man or woman for being offended by it? No. It may have a different meaning to some but to most it is now a symbol of hate. You wouldn't fly the Swastika at a capital so why would we fly the Confederate Flag?
Jun 24, 2015 My only defense for Yelawolf, though ti doesn't excuse him is look at everybody who's collabed with him. There's also an interview where he clearly states he would never say the N word -er or -a Killer Mike 3 6 Mafia Game Big Boi A$AP Rocky Gangsta Boo Bun B Twista Tech N9ne Rich Boy Raekwon Mystikal Jay Electronica Slaughterhouse Slim Thug T.I. Travis Barker Paul Wall Eminem If him using the confederate flag was a serious offense, these guys wouldn't have done a song with him guaranteed. Everyone offended by Yeawolf has to be offended at all of these guys for working with him knowing he rocks the flag & I know none of you have the balls to challenge Killer Mike
