    The dude drops a good album but no promotion, and I think without the actual album sales he's destined to never make it big. I actually think his hype since Radioactive has taken a big hit. Thoughts?

    I think this project will jumpstart his career somewhat, since it will get the critics and music fans talking about it which will give him a playform for his next album....

    Till its gone was doing really well on different radios from rock to rap from what I've heard, so maybe it will get ok sales. I mean the varieties of different people listening to his music, its pretty good.

    no. yelawolf will never be big, at least in a traditional sense. but this is hopefully the kind of album that will shore up a specific fanbase that will allow him to tour for the next 15 years. in five, he'll be on a lot of tour bills where he's the only rapper.

    That would involve leaving his current situation, though. I don't see Shady keeping an artist like that around.
    Would be pretty amazing to see a bunch of dirty f---ers with neck tattoos following him from festival to festival and getting in fights with Juggalos

    Of course it will....They play Yelawolf on rock station here in STL....He is also doing Pointfest with all rock bands so he will be getting a lot of different types of people listening to his music, than when he was consider just a rapper.

    This album will NOT do numbers. However this album WILL gain him tons of fans. If he can follow this up next year with a album just as good he will do fine. He can't sit around and wait 3 years or whatever to drop another album though. He has to keep this hype alive until his next project.
