Nov 5, 2015 Just because you're best friends doesn't mean you have to do songs together. They just didn't do it and it doesn't bother me at all. And for all we know, out of the thousands of songs we haven't heard/will ever hear there could be songs by just them two in there.
Nov 5, 2015 early to mid 90's rap wasn't heavy on features like it is now, illmatic had no guest appearances. the only real exception then was dr, dre..it wasn't until cash money and no limit came along that the whole feature thing got outta hand. Most rap albums today have less then 4 solo tracks by the lead artist, most of todays artist cant carry an album on their own. Eminem has always relied on himself for the B*** of his albums, recovery had one other rapper featured, same with mmlp2, relapse had 2 rappers, encore had 11 verses rapped by other rappers then EM and its his worst album. proof had 2 verses across all eminem solo albums to be honest, those are the worst songs on the albums. not because of proof tho, totally bizarres fault. so when his debut album dropped proof was completely unknown ....the question should be why would he give proof a verse.. f--- being friends, this is business and it was do or die time for eminems career. Proof name is listed in the tracklist , f--- it thats enough... how come Eminem didnt have a verse on searching for jerry garcia while were asking stupid questions?
Nov 6, 2015 Debut album ? You talk about Slim Shady LP right ? But I was talking more about Infinite. And it has nothing to do with Proof being unknown. Bizarre was the guest in Amityville on MMLP. Proof might've been the one WHO had a verse there and it'd have been a lot better. As for you sayin' in mid 90's rap there wasn't so much features. You're right but Eye Kyu was all over Infinite so that's not eligible for Infinite
Nov 6, 2015 He was technically in the skit, but he never actualy rapped at all, although I do believe he helped with production. He also did a hook for Backstabber, I think.
