his music, maybe not, but the way he dresses and looks and health wise. Also "If he is the most "active artist we talk about" you obviously only stay in the Eminem section, people talk about other artists, consistently, just doesn't seem that way cause (not to you in general) people stay in this sxn.

@Patrick Star you do bring up a good point about how people nitpick his appearance and stuff. But critiquing his music is fine whether you are a fan or not

See my cowboys analogy. It's just because he's so popular and appeals / reaches to such a broad scope. People want to say what they think about him. He's a unique facet of culture.

For me personally, when talking about how he looks and dresses, it's just a joke. I don't really care. But other people do for that reason

I guess I care health-wise...I hate the thought of him relapsing because he probably wouldn’t be so lucky this time. But that’s very normal to think as a fan especially when you hear his thoughts through his music

But yes I agree, people are particularly obsessive over Eminem’s appearance to a point where it gets weird. Seen it a lot from people who claim they aren’t fans either and use it as a way of dissing him....that’s just strange lol

That I can agree on, about his music, everybody & web bloggers feed off of doing that to artists, not just to him in general, but his appearances is another thing, even if you are joking its growing stale & horrible gimmick.

I'm sure if he was dying or look like it, we would probably know about it, just like the whole 'him dying awhile back, that turned out to be a hoax'
Yeah, it's also pretty awkward way to diss somebody, especially if its a guy saying it.

I hate this. If you werent a fan you wouldnt give a s--- and move on. A real fan would nitpicking and actually put time into wanting their fav artist to put out good s---. This argument has always been dogshit

Yes, exactly. A fan can accept an artist hasn't performed so well but knows they can do better a nd hope for better knowing their prior work. Being a fan lets you give them the benefit of the doubt.
A Stan sucks them off regardless and acts like no one should criticise their god they worship. Sound familiar?

He was right, people put him under a microscope more than any other artist it seems lol.

Like I said before, both his die hard stans and people who talk s--- about him 24/7 are obsessed r-----s.

It's probably because just of how popular he is.

This has always been the case. I remember back even like... 11 years old, kids who really loved Eminem, saying "yeah I've outgrown Eminem!" because it became cooler to dislike than like him at a point - because he came so big.

I think when anything becomes SO big and SO popular, people feel cooler not liking the thing. Not saying all Eminem criticisms are invalid, many are obviously valid... but I just think it creates more focus and more of that, when something is so popular.

Even if you're a fan, you ain't gotta be a fan of every s--- he puts out, some may like it, some may not. Its wishful thinking for him to put out good tracks all the time. Go listen to lil pump or something and stop having high expectations - WoW
