Sep 4, 2015 I just wonder why Eminem can't compile an album of unreleased classics. This will mark his legacy as the greatest artist of hip hop. For example, why he can't release the extra verse of the Stan? I believe there was a very short snippet on YouTube. What about the song from the skit on Eminem's Show, where he says "camera's flashing"? It really makes me wonder what holds him back to go ahead and release these songs as the part of mixtape. Why can't Dre release Die Hard and other tracks just for fun? It doesn't ruin their legacy, they should just release mixtapes. That would be so good for the new Eminem album promo too. If I was them, I would definitely release them. I would release Relapse 2, Recovery, MMLP2 sessions, old sessions. Not all tracks, but I'm sure that out of hundreds of tracks he keeps, there would be at least 10 GOAT tracks. Someone should message promoters or whatever these people are, or begin a massive twitter hashtag begging?
Sep 4, 2015 Em is gonna get the 2Pac treatment when he dies, so Paul wants to have enough material to keep releasing posthumous albums and s---.
Sep 4, 2015 like that other twat said they will be of more value when em dies so business wise wouldnt make sense to release them anytime before then
Sep 4, 2015 Inb4 that happens and Em gets depressed and makes Difficult 2 whilst downing pills with his Red Bull
Sep 4, 2015 because artists always think what they're currently working on is their best material--that's where their passion lies. unless of course you're j.cole who uses material from 5 years ago because he realizes he sucks now.
Sep 4, 2015 Facts Im sure if you ask Eminem he'll think he's at a prime right now. And maybe from a technical standpoint he is. Overall musically he's not, but from an artists perspective I highly doubt he thumbs through his thousands of old unreleased tracks and goes "this is better than anything im capable of doing now" even though we might think it is h--- theres even one story from back in 01 from this producer where there was one song that was supposedly the best song Em ever made and Em didnt like it and refused to release it. Also I wouldnt count on posthumous releases. We dont know when this muthafuckas gonna die. Yall gotta stop acting like Em has a terminal illness or something. He could live to be 100 and outlive some of us for all we know. I think we'll get post retirement releases though.
