Jun 7, 2016 As Spin points out, West has a different version of his 2013 album Yeezus on Apple Music than on other streaming services. This, however, may have been unique to Apple Music from the start. "Send It Up" features two lines rapped acappella instead of over a beat, and the opening line on "Black Skinhead" has been pitch-shifted. The changes might be borrowed from early track edits or leaks, according to Spin. They're minimal, but noticeable differences, and further proof that as long as he doesn't have to be, Kanye might never be satisfied. Article, April 16th 2016. There was a thread about this as well, but it didn't get much attention.
Jun 7, 2016 might be my favorite Kanye album ...I have so much fun listening to it, especially when you don't take the God = Yeezus references too srsly and its also the best album to exercise to!
Jun 7, 2016 I agree with the other dude, the album is just an experience, a journey. I almost never listen to the tracks independently (except HML cuz that track is bae). If I listen to Yeezus, I do it start to finish. I like how for the most part the album is loud and harsh, but when it does soften up and get quieter, it gets as beautiful as any music he's ever made, the outro to new slaves being a great a example. And even when the album is loud, and banging, it's still very melodic in most spots, the outro to HML being the obvious example (BOTL as well). Tbh it's kinda hard to put into words how the album makes you feel. It's unlike anything I've ever heard. That isn't to say it's an entirely fresh and innovative sound that's never been done (Deathgrips) but it was my introduction to this style of hiphop. And when you look at the larger picture, it bolsters his discography's incredible diversity. 808s to MBDTF to Yeezus to TLOP. Like....d---.
Jun 7, 2016 This was proven false. These differences have been on the iTunes/streaming versions since the day it released
