Jul 7, 2015I find it funny. Obviously people like M Solo have toned their acts down, he's no longer this lonely bitter steroid junkie with no friends, he's tried to fit in with the white Americans and now he says things like oooooh, i didn't listen to this song or that song when back in the day he got everything he could.
Maybe it's an American thing. Then the whole thing about Eminem, the fact that the black rappers can't sell as much as him seems to really annoy a lot of fans. It goes over their heads what Eminem has done. Not only did he prove in the early part of his career how good he was and how much better he was than everyone else but he spent the latter half of his career basically having fun and enjoying himself but he gets hated on for that. A lot of fans online can't seem to grasp that so you have all this hatred being spewed by people who are pfft.........i'd say no older than 25 years old. They hate and hate and hate and they're too stupid to even realise what is going on. This amazing talent has taken what is essentially a black man's world.....culture more or less and flipped it upside down lol and is now basically poking fun at it.
And you know something. Where i think it all stems from? There's a handful. A handful of people like me who were old enough back in 1999 to see his breakthrough and we gravitated towards him because of what he stood for and represented and in the last 17 years Eminem has basically changed his life, his life is the opposite of what it was and I think for many fans, they haven't changed. You have all those people..........and this goes for a lot of his friends and fellow rappers, that had no money in 1999, they were poor, they were angry at the world, the rappers were angry and poor, everyone was trying to make a living and pay the bills and the dream was having a nice house and providing for your family and that's a great dream to have. I don't know anyone in the world that doesn't want to feed their family and pay their bills and scratch and claw for every penny they have but when Eminem basically makes it within a few years, you have all these fans leftover and rappers leftover that are still stuck in that rut.
There are people right now in this forum that haven't moved on with the times. They are still stuck in that rut. If you have listened to Eminem since 1999 or 2002 or 2005 or even if you first heard his music in 2013 for MMLP2. A lot of them haven't changed their life. They are stil sitting at home with no money, no job, angry at the world and they show that with Eminem's music because Eminem doesn't talk about the hardships of life anymore so anything with an accent or anything that doesn't reflect that in his music gets constant hate. It's no different than one of your friends winning the lottery. The next door neighbour has a pool, why don't i have one? My friend has the latest whatever, shoes, clothes..........why can't i have them? This bitterness and anger towards ANYONE that actually does well in life.
I think i'm right with that aren't i? The real reason for all the hatred towards Eminem is simple. He just did something with his life. And hey it's fine. It's a human trait. You all know it, it's right there just under the surface, just under the skin, the anger and bitterness towards anyone else that does well in life. You can't stand it. That's why you rearrange his albums, let me guess.........all the sad depressing songs get kept in while the fun ones are taken out? Sounds about right. What else? Phenomenal goes in the recycle bin after a first listen? Yup kinda sounds like the hip hop community, lots of tears being shed.
