Eminem Why didn't Em put out any unreleased new era tracks?

    "Is This Love" has sentimental value to Em bc, besides "Beautiful," it was his #1 unreleased song from 2006-2008 (his "personal dark period")

    Yes but we talk about actual unreleased songs.. these songs were already released and cant be released as ”unreleased” on CC2..

    Yeah but I meant, people ask for the best "unreleased" relapse tracks... as in that didnt make it. They were released on Refill ?

    Agree but the main question was basically ”why Is This Love on CC2 and not a better track from the vault?”

    Be honest, ITL is mid lol, and the spelling ruins it. CC2 new tracks are so weak :emoji_sob:

    Snoop and Em one is ok, I just don't find it replayable

    The tracks on Refill are from the Hawaii sessions in the summer of 2009, when Em started changing his style to what eventually became the Recovery sound. The "real" Relapse 2 was only made up of songs from the original Relapse sessions of 2008-2009. Apart from the songs on Relapse, we've only heard 4 other tracks from that period: Oh No; Things get Worse; Taking My Ball; Psycho. Taking My Ball is confirmed to be a leftover from R1, and the same is said, but not confirmed, of Oh No, so the only potentially R2 songs that we have are Things Get Worse & Psycho.     Was as an album, agreed. But individual tracks and rapping... nah... come on - you saying... "Don't Front", "Groundhog Day"... "Rhyme or Reason", "Rap God" are terrible?

    Well R2 is unreleased. Em said they had enough tracks for 'probably 3 albums' at the time...

    So, we got Relapse 1 - basically every song from R1 is better than 'Is This Love' + Refill tracks which presumably are some of R2's tracks / so he must have had more, there were only like 6 new tracks on Refill... so you're saying there's no better Relapse session tracks than Is This love? Come on

    What are you talking about, Refill tracks sound nothing like what became Recovery;

    Buffalo Bill, Drop the Bomb on Em, Music Box... these are obviously Relapse tracks.

    Em at the time said he still wanted the stuff aka Relapse 2 tracks to be heard.

    None of this is true. Buffalo Bill was one of the first Relapse songs recorded in late Summer 2008.
