    Both of them had blockbusters but they both have dubious reception. Which one do you think makes the best movies in your opinion.

    I feel like Emmerichs blockbusters are better than Bays, but Bays few gems/higher quality movies are planets better than Emmerichs few gems/higher quality movies.

    13 hours, Project Almanac, Pearl Harbor, Amityville Horror stand out way more to me than Patriot, Independence Day, etc.

    So imma go with Bay

    It's Roland, not Ronald :emoji_wink:
    Pain and Gain is a masterpiece, so Bay is better

    Emmerich is definitely better since he's had some great movies like Day After Tommorow, Independence Day (1 not 2!), and 2012. Michael Bay simply ruins my favorite childhood franchises with awful AWFUL movies like Transformers and Ninja Turtles.
