Mar 27, 2021 It Takes Two It came out yesterday, it’s exclusively multiplayer or couch co-op. Played a few hours with my girl after we put the boy to bed. Really fun and creative.
Apr 17, 2021 Got mlb the show 21 for the series X. d--- it’s really good, been a decade or so since I’ve got into a baseball game so I’m glad to have this. Made a league with a bunch of the legends added in too, graphics are amazing on the 4K TV.
Apr 17, 2021 Completed God of War. Trying to play Witcher 3 but finding it hard to get into. Just seems too slow right now. For those who have played it, when does it get interesting? Just installed GTA5 again. Completed it on PS3 and this just be at least the third time I've tried to play it on PS4. I'll try again though. Also just downloaded Avengers through PS Now. And the EA '21 games are all free on EA Play now so I'll probably jump into some of those soon.
Apr 17, 2021 Which difficulty did you play GoW on? I’m one of those weirdos who plays games on the hardest difficulty possible; let me tell you that was a mistake for this game. Hardest video game experience of my life, I genuinely didn’t think I’d finish. Makes matters worse that part of the difficulty setting is that you cannot change the difficulty setting lmao. Brutal. Great game tho.
Apr 17, 2021 Been contemplating GTAV again. All my friends been obsessed w/ COD during the pandemic and I'm just tired of it. Never even tried GTA online
Apr 18, 2021 Just normal. I don't like games when they're too hard, I like just getting involved in the story. First and last game I've ever played on hard was FF7r but that's just because I'm obsessed with getting every FF7 platinum trophy there is!
Apr 18, 2021 Witcher 3 picks up after the intro area (first map) and you get into the Bloody Baron storyline. Don’t feel obligated to complete the entire intro area. Just k--- the griffin and move on. I played the Resident Evil 8 demo last night. Meh. I really f----- with 7 and thought it brought a breath of fresh air into the series (coupled with the VR support, which was a terrifying experience). This new one seems to be more action focused and less spooky. Not for me. looking at Visage for my next horror game probably.
Apr 18, 2021 The Maiden demo on PS5 was focused entirely on puzzles and horror with no combat. I wasn’t huge on the second demo either, but I’m cautiously optimistic that the final game will be a decent mix of both styles.
Apr 18, 2021 I’ve been ripping Warzone a lot the past couple months. I kinda can’t play unless I have a full squad. I’m getting extremely bored of it, glad they are about to do a huge update. It’s a fun game as far as BRs go but sometimes the competition is just insane; which is why I stopped playing cod back in the day to begin with. I can’t compete with Justin and Connor who just got off the school bus cracked outta their minds and are dropping in with their Roze skins and ffars lmao. All set.
Apr 18, 2021 Yeah that's my worry too, wasn't sure what to feel about the demo last night. Loved 7 but the demo didn't really sway me in either direction (but I mean, 30 minutes is blueballs no matter how you slice it lol). I didn't even know there was another demo before this one but the fact that you said it was more focused on puzzles and horror gives me more faith. I'm more of a fan of the survival horror RE games but they have done action well in the past and I'm def in for a mix of both. I felt like RE7 was 3/4 horror with the last quarter or so being action which was a nice balance. I feel like you these games naturally become a bit more action oriented in the end when you get more powerful and have better weapons anyway. Also, do either of you have any horror game recs?
Apr 18, 2021 The first demo was only released on PS5 for whatever reason, sucks because it was a way better experience than the recent demo. For recs I played Detention and Devotion recently and they were both great and scary af. Detention is on pretty much every modern system but Devotion is only available on the dev’s website and probably won’t ever get released anywhere else.
Apr 18, 2021 Outlast 1 and 2 are pretty good. I thought 2 was better, the stories are pretty much standalone with some *slight* lore between them. No combat at all in either. edit: Little Nightmares is also a pretty cool little game. I enjoyed it for what it is. Wasn’t big on the sequel tho
Apr 18, 2021 @Antman also recommended those, will def check em out. Even though they're standalone, should I start with 1 so it doesn't feel like a downgrade after playing 2, or does that matter? Nice, I'm not a huge PC gamer but Devotion is for mac too so I'll put it on my list! Thanks guyss!
Apr 18, 2021 I really enjoyed this too—played it on a whim cuz it was free but I'd never heard of it. Def felt a little clunky at first and the plot is convoluted but once you get more powers and start to understand the lore more it's really good.
Apr 18, 2021 I played 2 first (PS Plus freebie) and didn’t really have an issue going back to 1. But 2 > 1 so maybe start with the first
Apr 19, 2021 The devs a d-ck though. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/...as-an-opinion-that-might-piss-off-some-gamers
Apr 30, 2021 Finished Ghost Of Tsushima, what a great game. I want to play AC Valhalla next, but not anytime soon since it's gonna be too similar.
