Jul 28, 2015 ??? Would you consider trophies nwts era? What about 0 to 100? Or draft day & days in the east?
Jul 28, 2015 i think the more melodic s--- as of late is the VFT6 era. Tuesday (start of views era), my way, my love verses etc. b-----r drake with 0 to 100, trophies etc was nwts era.
Jul 28, 2015 I don't remember exactly when, but I think when 6 God came out it was kind of the turning point.
Jul 28, 2015 Yeah We Made It & Trophies were December 2013, then 0-100 in 2014. 6 God came late 2014 and obviously ended up on IYRTITL. All 4 were definitely different than anything we heard on NWTS.
Jul 28, 2015 Trophies was the first time I truly remember hearing a new sound from Drake since NWTS. It think though, that that sound originally started on Worst Behavior, and he tweaked that sound a bit and made big, stadium-sound-filled-with-bravado type songs after that, which is his more current IYRTITL sound, and now he's transitioning into a newer more melodic sound, which reminds me more of somewhere between Take Care and TML. I don't know though.
