    I can't really say because i guess i wasn't paying attention to hip-hop when most of these phases were but i gotta say i love the phase where rap is now

    2007-08. When Lil Wayne and T-Pain were on everything. This is when autotune came into the picture.

    Honorable mention: 2012-16. I hate 90% of new rap now.
