Jul 4, 2015 Wayne's been slipping off his game. IANAHB2 was a flop that sold only 200k (for Wayne standards) and even worse the most recent Young Money album with Wayne/Drake/Nicki on it only sold 30-50k. Birdman probably thought that Carter V simply wasn't on the standard of the others. Carter I-IV have generally been introspective and observational tracks, and what Wayne put out was probably just a bunch of codiene-fueled autotune bangers.
Jul 4, 2015 Wayne called IANAHB II a bum album n people don't need to buy it in a interview promoting it. He knew it was s---. s--- if Birdman let that trash out there would be no reason to keep CV on the shelf. All of the single were good but anyway it was good that it didn't get released n fuelled Wayne up. Got his passion back and you can feel the energy in his work. He's spitting his a--- off since 2014 n the stuff with Birdman and Young thug just made it better. He started calling himself the best rapper alive. Love cocky Wayne man.
Jul 4, 2015 I think Wayne has found the fuel he's been missing to spit again. Free Weezy Album was great imo and he's been killing his features this year.
Jul 4, 2015 Wouldn't be suprised if birdman wouldn't release the album knowing Wayne wasnt happy with his contract before it became public
Jul 4, 2015 Birdman was making Wayne put out sub par s--- for years, quality isn't an issue. He's a businessman pure and simple and he knows releasing Wayne a bad for business and so he wants to do everything in his power to stop Wayne from leaving and barring that make it as difficult of a process as he can. That n----- cant afford to be such a d-ck rn tho, for the past year he's been barely scraping by. I've mentioned this a while back but my mom works for the bank birdman draws out loans from and hes taken out multiple million dollar loans in the past few months.
