Aug 1, 2016 this popped up in my head before anything. like a bazillion artists were copying it & butchering it to death. Probably (if im correct) cause pre 808s/like 2007 there wasnt as much goin on in terms of trends so when that next big thing happened everyone got rly excited cause there was somethin new & decided to copy it. I mean autotune & that style existed for a loooong a--- while before 808s but yea people rly started to overdo it afterwards. So much corny music around that time that aged like hot dog buns

Aug 1, 2016 2003-2004 was a living nightmare. Lil jon and all that crunk music was f---ing everywhere. I also thought nelly was annoying as h---. 50 cent was also annoyibg but his music is genius compared to the bs that was being released around this time. You can throw 05 in that mix too.
