And another thing I forgot to delve into-- going along with the whole Watch Dogs 1-esque gameplay and seemingly devoid addition of any real new features or aesthetics...

The ONE true thing that I've seen articles about and features about that is actually different is the main character who is purposely 'unique' in response to the fact that Aiden Pierce is generally considered boring to the general public. Well, Ubisoft has you covered-- as if their games couldn't tap into perfect mediocrity and exactly what is expected of them with no real twists, turns, and innovation (because they truly dont have to since their games sell anyway), the ONE thing that supposedly is different is them just playing into a caricature of what a unique, 180 turn from Aiden Pierce is. A minority youth with a thing for style. Good job Ubisoft, you really hit that one out of the ball park.

Bland, bland, bland and no innovation.

And seeing what they did with Watch Dogs 1 (and every single other game they put out) at E3 compared to actual release? I hate to see how those distant buildings are rendered on release day so I hope for the love of god they make some strides in that department for whoever does decide to buy the games' sake.

I hate to sound like a casual when they say "ahh but it isn't like skyrim", but ahhh this isn't anywhere close to GTA V and you're one of the big 5 or so companies in gaming and it's 3 years later. Give me a break.

This isn't an artist with 2 releases dog, this is Ubisoft they are one of the only companies in the gaming industry that can match up with Sony/Microsoft at E3 to have their own conference.

No it's a teenage Puerto Rican smh. I guess there wasn't really anywhere to go with Aiden though especially with the game now based in SF.

also the whole "we are edgy elite haxors!!" hipster s--- is super cringe

at least Aiden was introverted and relaxed, these characters are running around yelling memes and talking about how they love being hackers, it's just so obvious how out of touch Ubisoft is
