i have spent my entire morning listening to thugger songs going off Freaky and youtube sidebar

he is nice..and i understand why he has a cult..he makes music that certain people can obssess over..and i def. can see myself become a fan if i keep going

BUT

i def. understand why some people might not f--- with him...he is a worse case of "Drake"..where people either get him or hate him..i feel thugger can be twice as bad of a case

Nope, narsh isn't going to do that.... i'm pretty sure if you watch this thread you can see why he's claiming someone hasn't listened to the artists. AND IF HE CLAIMS, why don't you show him that you have, no one has yet to do that, what does it say?

I'll take a stab. I liked most of what Future put out this year, but TPAB is simply better than any project Future put out. The best Future project this year was 56 Nights, but even then that project suffered a bit from Southside's production which could sound kinda samey at times. There is tons of diversity throughout Kendrick's project and it all comes together insanely well to make a project that's consistent in tone. You can also say Thug is diverse and I would agree, but for me at least he is way too inconsistent on that diversity. Just because you are able to make music in a different style doesn't automatically make you good and you shouldn't just be lauded for being different, as different is important, but being good/great and different is what Kendrick does in strides that Thug has simply not succeeded in for me at least.

It's all lie though.

TPAB isn't just the consensus AOTY by critics, it is also by most people. Like TPAB is winning almost every "readers polls" on most magazines sites, and it's also the highest rated albums on almost every platform that ONLY take the listeners rankings & votes into account. (ie: rateyourmusic)

I can make a thread right now on the internet and I would have a shitload of people saying illmatic is a snoozefest & is garbage, still doesn't mean that its not one of the best albums of all time from a pure objective standpoint.
