Jul 17, 2015 Thing is we (English) wouldn't hammer you at soccer any longer, I think it will only be a matter of time before the US national side is regularly one of the best nations in the world. I think a better idea would be having USA vs Europe at American Football which would be closer but you would no doubt win at. Like c'mon celebrating beating France 82-0 is like beating a r-----ed kid at something and rubbing his face in it.
Jul 17, 2015 I'm not celebrating it I just thought it was funny. I wish international football would become a big thing. The only problem is is that it would be hard to get actual NFL players, teams wouldn't want them playing. Then again, we don't need NFL players to dominate at Football, OP is exhibit A. No NFL or CFL players.
Jul 27, 2015 I don't really get the point of having a USA team in it for the reason posted. In Australia we have an International Cup similar to this for our football (not rugby) 'Australian Rules Football' or AFL but we don't have an Australian side competing. It's just for other countries to raise awareness of the game.
