Aug 5, 2015 more so the delivery but the content sucks because he is talking about shoving gerbals up his a---. quite the extreme example you're using to prove your point
Aug 5, 2015 how about Insane then, the flow is good lyrics a terrible, but by your logic it's one of his best post hiatus
Aug 5, 2015 i'd rather listen to insane than s--- songs like speedom and right for me, so yes, it blows most of his songs away
Aug 5, 2015 But Right For Me is terrible in every aspect. Songs like Guts Over Fear, Going Through Changes and Deja Vu are far superior to Underground.
Aug 5, 2015 GTC and Deja Vu, I agree with. GOF is s--- IMO. Parts of the second verse are good but the chorus ruins it for me But it's hard to compare serious songs to songs where he's in shady mode. it's like comparing say goodbye to hollywood to criminal. completely different songs
Aug 5, 2015 Yeah I wasn't using playful songs as examples cause with the exception of All I Think About, his only good post hiatus ones are on Relapse Edit; Also I completely agree on the GoF chorus but the rest of the song is great
Aug 5, 2015 I don't even care about content. I'm just saying, I wish he flowed like that all the time. With rhythm, on the beat. It sounds so much better than how he "flows" now
Aug 5, 2015 Amazing beat, perfect voice, great flow, sick chorus.. Terrrrible lyrics. Em really f----- up on Relapse man. It's been said and done to death but he really did. Not only was the production one of his best ever, but his voice on the album was so much better than it is now. His voice (minus the ridiculous accent) works well here. Look at The Warning, voice and delivery = ON POINT. Imagine a serious, self reflecting, Recovery themed LP with Relapse's production. It would have blown Recovery and MMLP2 out the water. Now he just so corny, awkward and robotic. Even on good songs like Fine Line.
Aug 5, 2015 my bad forgot those five or six bars in the first verse but still there are also a lot of dope bars
