If "leave" is the outcome, we would likely join EEA (European Economic Area). This will basically give us access to the Internal EU market, allowing us to utilise a lot of the deals from inside the EU whilst not being 100% governed by their trading laws. One of the terms of joining the area is the "Free Movement of Persons Agreement", which essentially means our immigration laws won't change much. Norway, who are part of EEA, have been known to take in a higher number of European immigrants per person that us in the UK.

So basically, not much with change - unless you listen to Brexit propaganda.

Interesting. So with that said, will you personally vote to remain or leave the EU?

I'm voting for remain - and it seems a lot of people in my demographic (under 30, working class) are doing the same.

Futhermore, you will no longer be able to take part in decision-making process what would degrade UK from being one of the most influential member states to practically irrelevant. With the globalization going on so rapidly these last 20-30 years, it's highly irresponsible to not participate in international organisations, such as the EU. I doubt that people who back brexit are aware of the fact how much the countries are economically, socially and culturally connected with each other. Thinking that you will be more rich by leaving EU is like wishing that money would finally start growin on trees.

I disagree with this tbh^ I'm for leaving the EU- I don't see any real benefit of staying in the EU, even if in the worst case scenario, we had tariffs in place, they would still be less than our net membership fee and immigration is a huge problem in the UK at these numbers. This is a globalised world but there is not any other organisation in the world like the EU- its not just an economic union but is actually a political union with 'ever close union' being one of its goals.

If we vote leave, we'd stay in the EU for 2 years to sort s--- out and then we'd be free from it. Remember, the only continent with lower economic growth than the EU is Antarctica. Not being in the EU is an advantage.

Don't agree. It's just that the English culture is reforming and that's what most people see as "life-threatening" problems.

I agree that some of the animosity over immigration is ridiculous- my Dad was born here but my Mum is an immigrant but there are genuine issues with immigration.

There really isn't any reason to believe those are ab-normal deficiencies or in any way to the overall detriment of the country. People will gradually adapt to the English way of life.

There's enough good to balance out the bad is what i'm saying brother.

2 years lmao. It's impossible to get the whole thing done in 2 years. Look how many years it takes to negotiate FT deals with third countries. If UK votes to leave EU, the Brexit will not have been completed by 2021-22. Living in a 'grey area' for so many years will definitely not affect the economy.

    NOT AT ALL.

I meant that 2 years is what it would take to leave the EU as in what the treaties say. Obviously, to negotiate the trade deals will take longer. By 2020, it would definitely be done though. Remember, a free trade deal is beneficial to the EU as much as it is for the UK especially in these times.

I agree that there's a lot of good and I obviously want immigration to continue but not at 300k net a year.

It's beneficial for both sides but remember that the remaining member states will still be able to earn money on trade exchange without all those unnecessary tariffs. The UK will have a problem with that, but for now, we don't know how big of an issue it would be.

If I'm being honest I wouldn't mind UK leaving EU in more peaceful times. This is the worst timing I've ever seen. You could leave in the 90's and no one would hold a grudge against you.
