    Dre has ghostwriters
    Dre has ghostproducers
    Dre isn't a good rapper

Only thing he's good at is producing, but he even buys the beats alot of times or let somebody else produce and take credit for that lol

He was an average lyricist in my opinion. He had good albums but are they at the level of albums such as Illmatic ,36 Chambers,Ready to Die etc. What was his impact on the genre? What did he do that was so influential in terms of pushing the genre forward?

Average lyricst=/= not being a good rapper. The most important aspects, flow and especially delivery he was very good at that. So that makes him a good rapper

Only Influencing every rapper that came after him lol..
And he also made people in hip hop more showcasing their personalitys on display in their songs. He inspired many rappers to be themselves and show your personality and charisma on the mic

pac is the superior lyricist if you can even call dre a lyricist but for business sense, judge of talent and friends and longevity in the game (obviously) i gotta go with dre

Why do people care so much if others wrote most of dre's lyrics. His voice sounds amazing and he made 3 (at the very least 2) great albums. On top of that he produced so many classic songs. I think the poll being close is fair.

Yeah true I love his voice. Except for the weird voice he used on Medicine Man he sounded great on Compton too
