    To me, unless foul play is suspected (laced drugs, etc.) the dealer holds no accountability for what happens to a user.

    The problem with this death penalty thing is we can’t trust the police. What will happen is the police will target certain dealers or people they just don’t personally like just to try and get them the death penalty. We already have a huge problem with police planting guns and drugs on people. Just imagine a few police throwing a tiny bag of fentanyl in someone’s vehicle just to get them the death penalty because they hold a personal grudge against the person. There’s already too many false convictions. This will only make things worse the more I think about it.
