"everyone" did not forget about the album. it's going to be a top five rap album in nearly every critics' poll worth reading. people have also been talking about it/putting it on shortlists all year, so no, what you're saying is not true lol

It was one of them albums that you had to respect no matter if you enjoyed it or not

the album is that good that it was obviously number 1. Quality wise, nothing came close, nothing at all.

I listened to ti yesterday for the first time in months and gotta admit, easily one of the best albums ever heard

the second Shyne Coldchain is actually pretty reminiscent of it. vince and earl are friends, so i could see earl taking inspiration from here:

this year's billy woods record doesn't share a lot in the way of subject matter or imagery, but is also about death and the atmosphere is very similar:

Rodeo had a huge impact where I live. Travis gets played regularly in any sort of social situation and even top 40 mom's enjoy Antidote. I'm saying an album personally effecting your emotions isn't a good measure of an albums worth.
