Look I'm a known Brady mark so hopefully I don't offend anyone too bad...I respect Montana fully

But there's a point where we have to stop putting Montana over Brady or putting one of them 1a and one 1b (wtf? Lol)

I think everyone will feel silly in a few short years trying to hold out on the Brady-Montana debate

Look...say what u want about him, hate him if u must. But Tom Brady has played in 6 Super Bowls, won 4, and has 3 SB MVPs. He's been league MVP twice. He's been to 10 AFC championship games. He has the highest win percentage of all time. He has the most playoff wins of all time by a large margin. He has great stats, both total and qualitative. He has been a consistent top 3 QB for 15 years.

This is not a debate anymore

Also for the record, I believe Manning is the smartest QB of all time and Marino/Brees/Rodgers are the most gifted passers ever

Big Ben doesn't get nowhere near enough credit because he was lost in the best QB generation of all time but the guy is great, one of the all time best

    Also I hate his guts

I was going to post this too. Big Ben is underrated, but I still don't think he's a top 10 of all time. He's still great though.

I'd go Brady, Montana, Elway, Peyton, Marino for my top 5, but I think Rodgers will take over Marino's spot. I also think Steve Young gets overlooked too.

I respect the h--- out of Marino and how ahead of the game he was for his time and call him one of the best pure passers...but how can you justify putting him over Brees as of now? @Fitzy both undermanned for the majority of their career...both immense passing leaders ahead of the game at the time they played...only difference is Brees has sustained his insane stats even longer and has more success. If anything Brees should 'take over' Marino's spot by the time he retires right?

Also we're jumping the gun on Aaron Rodgers. I'm on record saying Aaron is the most gifted QUARTERBACK overall ever. But to be a top QB all time....he's gotta sustain this for longer. Same reason why Steve Young isn't the defacto best QB ever. It's not all about your highest highs imo

guy quits tomorrow and he's the Megatron of QBs except he doesn't have the batshit insane statistics that Calvin had. That, plus there are about 7 or 8 or more other Rice, Owens, and Moss's ahead of him

Marino revolutionized the current quarterback position, and he did it in an age that was tougher for quarterbacks to put up stats. He threw 48 and 44 TDs in the f---ing 80s, which literally blows my mind.

I like Brees, but a lot of the stats are skewed to me, just like Peyton and even Brady's are. Today's NFL is a passing league, not because of the talent, but because of the rules of the game. You can't be physical with receivers anymore, you can barely hit the QB either... It's just not the same.

Marino might be the most gifted quarterback of all time. And Brees has been surrounded with crazy talent, and plays in a division where he's guaranteed 9 dome games a year, at the very least.

I just think very highly of Rodgers, it's a preference thing. He rarely ever turns the ball over, he can run, and he's incredibly efficient. On the flipside to Brees, he has to play in one of the worst elements in Green Bay, same as Brady in Foxborough.

Elway's numbers aren't staggering either, but I watched Elway, and other than Young and Rodgers, I can't think of a more complete QB.

And let's be clear, Brees has played at an elite level since maybe 2004, but even that is a stretch to me. 04-07, I always felt Brees was just a good quarterback. It wasn't until 2008 that he exploded, and Aaron Rodgers has been playing at an elite level since around 09, I believe.

Brady embodies football to me. Never seen someone as passionate about the game as he is and it shows in the way he carries himself out on the field too. Dude is football.
