Apr 3, 2016 I have no basis besides him being so quiet (not a shocker because he's such a recluse) but I get the feeling he's in album mode. My hope is he starts layering his vocals again and does a more laid back flow. With Medicine Man, Fine Line and All I Think About, I think the ability is definitely still there, he just needs content/direction. I like the "Roots" concept. I think it would be cool if he focused more on story telling again. Maybe revisit how he got into hip hop at a young age and more specifically some stories about when he first started rapping. Possibly a legit Proof tribute. You're Never Over was so corny and Difficult was obviously never meant to be heard.
