Jan 23, 2016 there's jazz and jazz though, kendrick wasn't just sampling some jazz songs for tpab... he worked with very talented underground jazz musicians on this s---. The jazz on tpab is more underground than mainstream (not trying to be racist here, but white people tried to make jazz more mainstream...but instead, terrace martin & kamasi tried to incorporate the original jazz fusion sound from the 80s)
Jan 23, 2016 I'd say kendrick is definitely not for you even the biggest kendrick fans I know thought kendrick was underwhelming on no more parties in LA. It's like you're enjoying a totally different artist than the kendrick fans.
