Dec 3, 2014 Sunday's episode was one of the better one's this season...definitely been a flawless season, Sunday was no exception..and it's only going to get better.
Dec 4, 2014 I loved the first half of the season. Beth's death seemed really unnecessary, I agree. I'm still waiting for this... (comic spoiler) Spoiler
Dec 4, 2014 Latest episode spoiler Spoiler I'm happy beth died. One less pointless character to hog up an episode. On a side note: I had to stop checking out discussion threads like this because there was an a------ on SL that was reading future spoilers and posting them as his own predictions for Breaking Bad. Hopefully no one here will pull s--- like that.
Dec 5, 2014 I didn't like Beth too much, but I was still devasted lol. I've never been so emotionally invested into a tv show in my life.
Dec 5, 2014 I was watching the finale on Sunday after I got off work and was trying to avoid twitter but for some reason I opened it up with like 10 minutes left in the show and got spoiled seeing #RIPBeth...
Dec 5, 2014 My wife likes The Walking Dead on Facebook, and right after the east coast airing (two hours before it aired here in the west), The Walking Dead posted "Rest in Peach Beth" and the picture of Daryl carrying Beth out of the hospital... ruining the episode for everyone not on the east coast. So she was spoiled way before it aired. Needless to say tons of people complained and TWD posted an apology later that night. I'm just glad I didn't see it!
Dec 5, 2014 That's where you use your brain and unlike the page. Just saying I complained when a site I use regular posted a picture of a zombified Merle on their homepage when I was watching the episode later on that night. I bitched about it but really I should've used my head and not gone on the till I saw the episode. Everyone, myself included is going to lose their s--- when Negan is introduced
Dec 5, 2014 Lol u might be thinking about me, and no - that was just a witchunt nogger started back when he would troll me 24/7
Dec 5, 2014 Just watched the last 2 episodes, I'v really enjoyed the entire half season. Best its been in a while. and @FreeAgent Negan showing up would be f---in insane.
Dec 5, 2014 We won't be seeing Negan anytime soon, in a interview last month Robert Kirkman said "We actually talk about that a bit in the writer’s room as to when it would be appropriate to bring him in and what needs to happen in order to get to that point. Unless the show gets canceled abruptly very soon, you’ll see Negan on the TV show. Like Season 9?”
Dec 5, 2014 If I've learnt anything it's never to trust writers/creators. Kirkmans comments could be 100% truthful, but there's also a chance of it being bs. While I don't think we will see him this season, I do believe he will be introduced in season 7. The show could change course but I see the rest of this season being focused on Washington with Alexandria Safe Zone being the story of season 6.
Dec 5, 2014 It got renewed for season 6 about 5 episodes in so I'd say AMC will continue to air The Walking Dead as long as the interest is there and the viewers and given the record set by season 5 it's here for a while yet. Plus there's the spin-off show.
Dec 5, 2014 Hard to tell how many seasons there will be. They still have a LOT of catching up to do with the comics so who knows. I think as long as there's parts of the comic that can be adapted they should keep making the show. Plus, it's AMC's money maker. They won't cancel it. They already renewed it for season 6 and ordered the pilot episode for the spinoff.
Dec 5, 2014 anything past 9 seasons and they are just running it into the ground tbh and like you said AMC will have another zombie show on.
Dec 5, 2014 I'd have to disagree with that. The Walking Dead has shown no problems straying off the source material by creating new characters/scenarios and altering characters/scenarios. If the comic does end in another year or so and the show still has a lot to catch up on I'd say they would have no problems changing the outcome of the ending of the comic or finding a way to carry on from that. Plus AMC will have a say in things if they want the show to carry on.
