@Bleed @Ordinary Joel if you're talking about the comics in your spoilers you should mark them as such. I didn't look but I wouldn't want someone to accidentally look at them thinking it was about the show!

Sorry, boring ideas was probably the wrong way to frame it—I just think they make really weird writing/pacing decisions sometimes. Like, why keep the Governor alive after s3...then have him not be in the first four episodes...then oh here's two episodes featuring only the Governor and new characters that are gonna die in two episodes that explain the governor's backstory and why we should care about him now...then next episode k--- him. What's the point? Why build up the entire back half of a season to them getting to these super scary cannibals and have them escape from them in one episode (though I did like vignette structure)? Why introduce an interesting character like Bob, only to k--- him off really fast and then keep Maggie & Glenn around when they haven't done anything interesting for like two seasons? Not that I don't like the characters, they've just fallen into the Jim & Pam trap where once they got together for real they got kinda boring. I get that "what's the point because you could die any time" kind of is the point with a show like this, but that's a point that's been hammered in many many times.

@Narsh first episode is great aside from the ending. Really good pacing/structure.

Episodes need to pick up soon because it's getting to be a chore to sit through for sure. I missed one episode a few weeks back and I don't even think it mattered that much since I'm not lost or confused about what's happening

I'm still watching it every week, but like others have mentioned the pacing is pretty bad. If they would just show multiple stories from multiple groups in each episode it would be better... but they're just building up to this war so slowly. We shouldn't have gaps of many episodes without Maggie and the hilltop, or a few in a row without Rick and Michonne, or the Kingdom. Just cover all the stories in each episode.

I liked that guy in the Kingdom that died last ep. He died earlier than his comic counterpart
