I'm excited for this one next week plus it comes out on my birthday, gonna definitely see it sometime next weekend. I thought the 2nd one was quite a bit better than the 1st, didn't care much for the original one. The 2nd one was more the way they should do these movies, hoping the 3rd one is good as well.

I know a lot of people hate this franchise it seems, but anyone else excited for it? These movies are fun imo.

It's been two years since Leo Barnes (Frank Grillo) stopped himself from a regrettable act of revenge on Purge Night. Now serving as head of security for Senator Charlie Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell), his mission is to protect her in a run for president and survive the annual ritual that targets the poor and innocent. But when a betrayal forces them onto the streets of D.C. on the one night when no help is available, they must stay alive until dawn...or both be sacrificed for their sins against the state.

1h 45min Rated R for disturbing bloody violence and strong language

hella excited for this. Loved the first two, especially the 2nd, which, yeah agreed, was a major step up quality wise from the first one. The plot descrip alone for this one has me interested. Haven't seen a trailer, don't really plan to, wanna go into the movie blindly.

got high hopes that it'll be purty f---in good

The first one was awful, but the second was great. I'll definitely be checking this movie out.

Man I was checking out the purge facebook page and a lot of the top comments are people that are flat out afraid to go see this in theaters cuz they think someone will purge there for real...That surprised me, it really sucks if we're at the point people are afraid to go see violent movies in theaters cuz of that. It wasn't just like 1 or 2 people saying it, it was a lot of people. Kinda disappointing, certainly won't keep me from the theater lol.

I'll most likely go on Friday, but it's my birthday and I'll be semi-busy so there's a small chance I'll wait till Sunday. Either way I read a couple reviews and I like the way it sounds, seems like it'll be as good as the last one if not better.

The First Movie was... eh. But it set up alot of what the franchise would be about. Mass killings, general creepiness and well, twisted agendas.

Purge gets better with each movie, I'm definitely going to see this; I'm interested in how they're going to top themselves this time.

Yeah I'm kinda thinking they'll top it each time too, seems to be going in that direction. 1st was pretty bad, but I was interested enough in the concept to see the 2nd one and that was way better. Got a good feeling bout this new one.

Good question, I'm not sure but wouldn't shock me if they keep milking it a bit longer. At least they spread each movie out by a few years.

*edit* wait apparently the first 2 came out back to back years so I guess they don't always spread it out.

Saw this earlier today, I liked it although some parts of the story and dialogue were pretty cheesy. But there were good kills and action scenes and the story was usually fairly exciting too, I enjoyed the first 2/3rds of the movie or so more than the last chunk, but some of the last parts were good as well. It might have been just cuz the weed was wearing off lol..

It was definitely better than the 1st, I don't remember the 2nd enough to be able to compare it to that but it was on a similar level imo. Worthwhile and good movie if you enjoyed the 2nd one. I'd probably go 8/10 for my score.

No one else see this yet? Anyways another thing I didn't really like was the humor, it was mostly corny one liners, even the delivery by that dude was kinda weak. It also made the moment seem less scary than it should have been.

Overall I liked the movie but not most of the humor attempts especially that guy's one liners.
