I tried listening to it. It’s garbage. It’s on the same level as revival to me. s-----y Disney rock type beats, sounds like a call of duty anthem soundtrack. Eminem crying over everyone hating on revival, yet his old a--- still thinks the album was a classic that took 5 years to make. His career is over. He can’t make another good solo album.

It's true. Nostalgia is a trip. Either way, Eminem was right when he said years later you'd call his album a classic in Be Careful What You Wish For. It happened with Encore too. I hated Encore for a long time, but I kept on going back to it for some reason, trying to like it. Every time I listened, I hated it less. And eventually, I came to love Encore, to an extent.

When I hear songs such as'' Be Careful What You Wish For,'' now, I think of it as a classic, retro song. But at the time I didn't think it would ever be a classic Em song. Because all these years passed and I'm reminiscing, I now miss Eminem from Relapse. Songs like ''Beautiful'', ''3 AM,'' and ''DeJavu'' are brilliant. Eminem went pretty hard on that album.

I think part of the problem is Eminem set the bar too high with his first three albums and 8 Mile. It was all just too good to top. Other rappers don't have to rap about anything in specific. Money, hoes, and cars are all they have to rap about. With Eminem, you expect more and more content from his life. He has to become more creative just to match half of our expectations. Think about it. On the SSLP and MMLP, was he really that creative? We didn't know anything about him, so he had all kinds of material up his sleeve.

If you really think about it, Eminem actually got more creative after coming back from his hiatus. Relapse was pretty creative. Recovery was something new. ''Not Afraid'' was deep. Then he even made an MMLP2. Revival was conceptual and he tried something totally new with ''Walk on Water.'' He attacked his critics on Kamikazee. I'm not sure what to think about M2BMB, but he did come out with 2 albums in one.

that what blew me away when he defended revival and called relapse trash . revival had trash beats trash flows trash lyrics impressive but without the rest dont work. he should of hopped on leatherface i just play it cutting of bizzares verse its closes thing to a relapse type song that had the same vibe he wouldve been insane on it

I swear....if Relapse came out in 2006, it would have been much better received because it'd be seen as a return to his old school SSLP after Encore left people wanting more.

Plus, that was the year Aftermath still mattered as a label before Kanye, Wayne, and Drake shifted the whole direction of hip hop/music.
