    I mean I remember em blowing up on mtv and all that with the "hey my name is my name is my name is - SLIM SHADY" and it became an album everyone was playing. It's a big part of the reason Mmlp sold the way it did in the first week. That album had a variety of tracks too.

    he's using bars that sound like Em himself would've written them too. Makes you wonder if it's possible for em to write a better diss cause that was brutal lol.

    Old enough that I've been following Eminem since 1999, and he became my favorite in 2000.
    Eminem Show and that era (2002) was Eminem's top. Eminem Show was flawless, and I consider it the same era as 8 Mile with the Lose Yourself, 8 Mile, Rabbit Run time period. Eminem's best.
    Marshall Mathers LP was phenomenal and flawless too. No doubt MMLP and Eminem Show are his top 2 albums. MMLP was f--- everyone, and Eminem Show was f--- everyone, but also was expanding how personal he got, opened up more personally and showed some of his vulnerable side for the first time, and touched on real life matters. Both albums are flawless and went hard...I just think Eminem Show had more range and depth all-around.
    Slim Shady LP was great, just not as good as TES, MMLP, and Recovery. Recovery was different, inspirational, had huge hits, great rhymes, and was universally embraced. To each their own.
    Not dissing Slim Shady LP. I had that his fourth best lol. It's a fantastic album.
