Plus, the success is not even about promotion of album at all. U can drop something like Gucci g--- and become huge as f--- anyway. It's not the promo makes a song hit, it's the song itself. Budden is disloyal, stupid and liar. I mean basically nothing he says is true and he keeps talking stupid. It's a fact because non of the slaughterhouse members f--- with him at all. And what em says are making a lot sense.

He had at least 2 features on there. He appeared in one of their music videos and he helped produce most of the album. That album was very well promoted from what I remember. They even had all that Shady 2.0 thing going on before the album was out. The XXL magazine cover etc.

And like he said in the interview, hundreds of thousands were spent.

Not Em's fault if it didn't sell s---. In this day and age, A lyrical rap group like that won't sell. No matter how commercial you try to make the album sound.

nah the album was lyrically WEAK. trying to make it sound "commercial" (a.k.a furiously dated with skylar grey hooks and ugly beats) obviously didn't help but it wasn't gonna be good anyway
the mixtape they put out before was cool, but they never had that much chemistry imo

Point is, not many people will listen to a rap group these days unless it's R & B or something. When you got 4-5 guys on a track which each one having their own verse, kids these days just want the chorus or want something catchy. Hard to do that with several guys on one track just spitting bars.

Right but em had 3 features, but everything else you said is correct oh plus em went and did a interview with them as well. That’s why I was confused joe said last week that em didn’t have any features, or helped promote the album. The bet cypher with him slaughterhouse, and Yelawolf was to promote them as well. Only say they dropped the ball by not dropping the album right after that cypher her.

Just thinking off all the things he did to promote the album was a lot.

3 features on that album
Appeared in their music video
Helped produce a large part of the album.
Had this whole Shady 2.0 movement going on.
Performed with them live in a show
Got them on the cover of a magazine
And hadn't even thought about that BET cypher

If that album flopped, Em has nothing to do with it. Joe has always been the whiner in the group.
