I'm putting Kamakazee as the best Em album since his comeback in 09. It's definitely debatable because people can make a case for both relapse or recovery.

Reason I say it's better than recovery is the beats are Dre beats and the flow and rap skill is also a bit tighter imo.

As far as relapse there are some bad a--- songs, flows are tight as f---, but a handful are skip songs and the lyrics are often pretty out there.

Koolo I’m being dead a--- serious about my thoughts on this album. It’s Okay imo. It’s not a classic like y’all are heralding it as. It’s nice to hear Em over some of these beats and great that we get content on “some” songs.

He is making himself relevant again by name dropping which I guess is pretty fun but MGK is so far below him idk why he even wastes his breath. Budden beef could be interesting though.

He falls into some of the same old tropes though...
-hyper speed rapping
-awkward made up relationship songs
-trying to cram as many rhymes in as possible and just rhyming for the sake of rhyming (crest white strip, unplugged toaster, etc)
-Slapping on a cash grab movie song at the end that doesn’t belong.

I posted my review in your thread and gave it a 5-6/10 which seems reasonable. Y’all want me to post non troll statements so hear ya go. I’m also not the only one on this site that doesn’t like this album. Still an Em fan or else I wouldn’t be on this site and this is a step in the right direction. He just needs to dial it in now.
