Trust me, you don't want to compare the verses between Joe Budden and Eminem from 05 to 17, because it's a landslide victory for Joe.

Now if we're talking primes? Than obviously it's Eminem. And I'd include Kamikaze as prime Eminem. But, the years I mentioned? No way, Joe has him beat by far.

Joe says Em hasn't said anything for almost a decade and has just been rhyming words....Joe trashed Untouchable and that was full of content. It was a--- though. He does have way too many useless songs that are just rhyming for the sake of it though. It's f---ing annoying.

I mean, I’m not talking specifically, more generally. I don’t think there was ever a time Eminem wasn’t the better lyricist. Lebron got his a--- handed to him in 2011 but was no doubt the best player on the planet. Take these 2 at anytime from 07-now and have them write something, Eminem takes it. Joe just probably took it a little more seriously in that time

Why the f--- isnt Budden getting on wax to diss Em? Or maybe not straight out diss him but to get his feelings out there and tell ppl how it is... why do it over a bs podcast?

Of all the ppl Em called out recently, Budden is the 1 person I was sure would respond. Not just respond but actually challenge Em lyrically. He's not only a decent rapper but he's been close to Em's camp for years. He'll have maaaaad stories and info about whats gone on behind the scenes that no other rapper outside of slaughterhouse will have.

Come on Joe... do it for Hip-Hop

Eminem was trash from 05-17. Joe Budden was an all time great lyricist in those years.

In that time frame, Joe would absolutely WASH Eminem.

Again though... Eminem from 98-03 is a different story. But Eminem wouldn't be able to compete with Joe Budden the last decade. Not until now.

Sure, I understand what you’re saying. Joe was a better artist and probably put out better music. But just because Eminem chose to s--- out music from that 05-now window, doesn’t mean he wasn’t a better writer (he is). But again, I get what you’re saying, Joe wrote better so he deserves the praise.

I actually like Joe Budden. I’d even go as far as to say he’s “dope”. But if he comes out of retirement because Eminem got under his skin then that’s not a good look. YKnow what else isn’t a good look? Responding on a f---ing podcast lmao. Kinda a Lose/Lose for Joe.

Also, the whole idea of a “Rapper turned rap critic” is the most ridiculous f---ing concept I can think of. Joe can actually rap tho so it’s passable. I definitely know some rapper turned rap critics on this very site. Sad!
