    There's definitely MOMENTS that I do like on Recovery. But as an overall project it's trash to me. There's maybe like 2-3 songs I actually enjoy, much like Relapse or Encore.

    I genuinely do like Kamikaze though. I don't like the love songs, because they don't sound genuine and sound super out of place. I would've rather him put out an 8 song EP for Kamikaze (without the skits and 3 love tracks) and I would've rated it way higher.

    But Kamikaze is way more consistent (at a high level) and more natural sounding from him than anything he's put out in the last 14 years.

    To me it's a 6.5-7 album, and I NEVER thought Eminem would've been capable of that in 2018, or s---, even 2011.

    FALL is such a grower. I almost hated the sound of it at first listen. Now it's the best song on the album.

    I think stepping stones first few verses are old. Especially the first one. Sounds like an older version of him. His last verse gave it away imo. Either way, I personally like the song. Which has been years since I liked an eminem song.

    Me and a friend in elementary thought it was badass playing devils night or whatever that d12 album was like in 02 I believe. Kind of was a nice ending song about d12.

    right bro. it's so deep, only a true intellectual can sit down and grasp everything he is talking about. it took me 3 hours of listening to the intro just to catch all the quadruple entendres.

    I can dig screaming/aggression, but you're right that I'm not really into metal. Though I may have said "screaming" I'd characterize it more as yelling; kind of an aggression for aggression's sake more than the legit passion you'd get on something like Till I Collapse.

    I don't think it's dismissive of noise as a genre to say what Em did on some of the songs on recovery doesn't work, because it's not just the delivery–it's the lyrics in combination with the delivery and the production. Though critics def can be overly dismissive of em just because he's em.

    Actually agree with this. Stepping Stones is the only song i revisit. If he went at bigger artist on kamikaze I would be a little more interested in the song.
