    I’ve heard this line a few times. Obviously that’s your opinion. Makes me wonder if you’re not a fan of heavy metal or something. Because there’s absolutely a sub genre of noise and aggressive ~screaming in music. Not your cup of tea, fine. But I’ve seen some elites diminish eminem alone as somehow sub-music.... without also deriding this entire tradition of music (that could potentially make them sound too dismissive, or glib critically)

    Edit: and no I’ll take the highs of recovery, and some of the lows, over eminem farting and being an accented serial killer (tho tbh relapse is a concept album so I’m always unsure where to rank it)

    dawg scorpion isn't that good. neither is ye. neither is kamikaze. all the big artists dropped 6/10s at best. doesn't mean you can't get a bit of enjoyment out of them.

    A billion in streams. Naw drake won. Eminem knew better to go after people bigger than him. Scared of drake lol Still hasn’t even dissed Rick Ross. But disses MGK over a tweet from 2012 and took him 6 years to make it lol Budden would destroy Eminem in a lyrical battle. All the dirt he has on Eminem from the earlier years. He made sure to wait Budden was retired.

    But like...we all critique Em on a curve lol. It’s ok, that’s just kind of what we have to do. There’s bars on here though that would not fly on a Drake or even Kanye album lol. Like, outside of Stepping Stones, a majority of Scorpion is prob better than everything else on Kamikaze lol.

    all three albums are full of terrible punchlines, just each artists' own variety of terrible punchlines.

    I'd take the, like, four or five songs I like on Scorpion over anything on kamikaze easily, but so much of Scorpion falls flat for me, and that's especially bad when it's a 25 song album.
