    Kamikaze made me realize that i have to appreciate everything Eminem has done in his career. I'm revisiting everything again.

    Ya sum of it certainly doesn’t work, and is dated. But I think generally it’s ~fine for being a pop rap comeback effort. The backlash against it made me upset.

    honestly, some of it is more grating than the worst of encore/relapse for me. The worst of relapse/encore is utter nonsense, but the worst s--- on recovery is nonsense in addition to being just so...sonically displeasing is the only way I can describe it. Grating on the ears is really all I can say. Just him screaming "GET IT CALM BAT MAN" and "STICK MY d-ck IN A CIRCLE BUT IM NOT f---in AROUND" over this awful, uninspired pop production.

    True. Tho Drake's album was backed by "God's Plan" and "Nice for What". He sold 732,000 Album-Equivalent units (which includes the performance of these singles), but In terms of pure album sales he sold 160,000 (His lowest ever).

    Eminem, on the other hand, didn't have any huge singles for this project and is projected to have 220,000 - 235,000 pure album sales.

    Sounds like a win to me

    "on fire" would actually be kinda funny on its own because it seems like he's making fun of that type of rappity punchline rap, but then there's like five versions of that same song on the album that are serious
