    You think he would have put together tech9 and submachine guy if it didnt fit the wordplay? Like he would have said "next time you dont need Macklamore to come up with submachine gun? Having it make sense in double meaning is the definition of a wordplay. Dude.

    The guy you quoted said it correctly. It’s a play on words is very clever. You’re right in he is saying Tech N9ne the rapper, but also tech-9 referring to the sub machine gun the. Using sub as a subliminal diss and connecting it to machine gun that defines the tech-9 gun.
